This light has been designed with operators and safety in mind, it will insure reversing trucks will not reverse into the bench or into the excavator when loading. Some operators find it hard hearing the horn signal when reversing with ear plugs in and windows up when in dusty conditions. The trucks are also getting much better in reducing outside noise with double glazed windows and extra insulation.
This amber light is to signal a reversing truck when the horn is blown it will flash and will be visible in the mirror on the reversing truck this will also help when the truck is loaded and the operator does not hear the horn signal increasing productivity.
